Since the years 2019, 2020, and continuing into the present, we have been associated with the "Beggar Free City" initiative in Hyderabad with the support of GHMC and the Police Commissioners of Cyberabad and Rachakonda. They have been sending underprivileged individuals to our Ashramam, where they receive care, shelter, and support.
The Ashramam, initially housed in a reed shed, faced numerous challenges over the years. After the pandemic, the need for a permanent building to accommodate individuals with disabilities became critical. To address this need, a five-floor building was constructed, designed to accommodate up to 2,000 orphans. The building was officially inaugurated on November 1, 2023. This new building provides a safe and supportive environment for mentally challenged people who wander the streets and garbage dumps due to mental health challenges, marking a significant milestone in the Ashramam's journey toward better serving the mentally challenged orphans in its care.
