It is known that the Sri Sri Sri Punyalingeswara Swamy Kshetram is being built for orphans in Amma Nanna Orphanage, in a way that is unheard of anywhere else in the country.

A significant and spiritually uplifting event (23-04-2025) took place on the auspicious day of Krishna Paksha Dashami, under the sacred Dhanishta star, during the Chaitra month of the Swastishri Vishwavasu year, in Uttarayana, Vasantha Ritu. This marked the beginning of divine access with the Simhadwaram Bandhana Gadapa Puja—the ceremonial first step into the temple.

This sacred ritual was led by the Chairman of the Kshetram, Shri Venerable Gattu Shankar Garu, along with Mrs. Sravani Shankar Garu, who observed a special niyam (vow of devotion). With utmost reverence, they placed their right foot at the main Simhadwaram (Lion Gate), initiating the path for countless devotees to follow. Their divine entry marked the first darshan of Lord Kailasanadhu, symbolizing a bridge between earth and heaven.

As part of the ceremony, special pujas were also performed at the sacred space where the twelve Jyotirlingas are being installed. With every offering and every chant, the sanctity of the space was magnified, and those present experienced the divine grace of Lord Shiva.

The temple’s construction is now progressing at a rapid pace.
