From Pavement to Sanctuary

From Pavement to Sanctuary

The rough roads of life till yesterday took an auspicious turn for a lost soul. Wandering aimlessly, broken by circumstances, a man was seen on the streets in a painful and unstable state. His life seemed to be heading towards darkness until fate brought him to Amma Nanna Orphanage, a sacred home for the helpless.

On the 27th of this month, the Choutuppal police, moved by his plight, brought him to this divine haven in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. The staff welcomed him warmly, provided him with food, care and most importantly, respect.

It was soon discovered that his name was Naresh, and that someone somewhere was missing him badly. That someone was his elder brother Veeranna, a resident of Chivvenla mandal in Suryapet district. Choutuppal S.I., with heartfelt concern, made the call that changed everything – informing Veeranna that his missing brother had been found, safe and sound.

The moment Veeranna entered the ashram on January 28, his eyes filled with tears, his heart pounded with hope – the brothers were reunited. The embrace that followed needed no words. The silent tears and handshakes conveyed pain, relief and unconditional love.

As a sign of deep gratitude, Veeranna visited the nearby Sri Punyalingeswara Swamy temple and offered abhishekam and special prayers for the well-being of all those who walk through the toughest storms of life. He also offered bricks for the ongoing temple construction – a symbolic act of rebuilding not just walls but lives.

Battling emotions, Veeranna shared:

“For three days, I searched for my brother, not knowing where he was, or if he was alive. Thanks to the kind police officers and the divine spirits of Amma Nanna Ashram, I found him safe. I will never forget this.”

This is more than a story.

This is a miracle of humanity, a living example of what love, compassion and community can achieve. A man who once wandered forgotten streets now walks with purpose in the arms of family and faith.

In a world where countless souls are forgotten, Amma Nanna Anadha Ashramam stands as a beacon of light restoring dignity, rebuilding families, and renewing faith in humanity. It’s not just an ashram... it is a sacred space where pain is heard, healing begins, and hope is reborn.

Naresh’s journey from the pavement to the sanctuary is one of many miracles happening within these walls. For every tear wiped, for every heart reunited, and for every life saved this Ashram becomes not just a shelter, but a symbol of unconditional love.

May Amma Nanna Anadha Ashramam continue to be a divine refuge where the lost are found, and the forgotten are embraced with love.

Because at Amma Nanna Ashramam… every life matters.
