On February 1, 2025, Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam proudly marked another milestone in its remarkable journey of service. More than just an anniversary, this day stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication, kindness, and compassion that have formed the foundation of the ashram’s mission. 

In the heart of Choutuppal, Hyderabad, Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam stands as a beacon of hope and humanity. Founded in 2010 by Gattu Shankar and Sravani, this noble institution has been a sanctuary for mentally disabled orphans, providing them with a safe home, medical care, and unwavering support.


A Journey of Struggles and Triumphs


Starting an ashram dedicated to mentally disabled orphans was not an easy task.The inception of Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam was not without hardships.Gattu Shankar and Sravani faced numerous hurdles, from financial constraints to societal skepticism. However, their unshakable determination and selfless commitment kept the ashram running, ensuring that the orphans received the best possible care.


The ashram has grown over the 15years, expanding its reach and facilities, but not without its share of hardships. Securing funds, managing healthcare needs, and ensuring proper rehabilitation for the residents have always been pressing challenges. Despite these struggles, Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam has thrived, thanks to the generosity of donors and the relentless efforts of its founders.
